Only use ads that don't crash the page . . .
Shockwave plug-in keeps crashing the page. This used to happen from time to time but for the past week or so it happens after only about 1-3 minutes. The only solution is to kill the page and open a new one. Not a real solution.
Would love to keep using your site if only you would fix this issue. It is not new. I can only assume it is more important to you to sell ads than to have a site people can use. But then why would people pay to advertise on an unusable site?
Time to find a new site if you don't get this in order quickly. I'll check back in a day or two to see if you have resolved the issue.
We’re working on a solution to give ad-free access

Frankly, I am tired of being interrupted by these pop-up ads. The Cookie Jam has been the worst to date as it prohibits me from deleting it and continuing my game. I am ready to quit playing as I do not need this hassle! Generally I don't mind the ads as I realize that they are a source of revenue. But please don't interrupt my game especially to the point where I have to shut only to find out that the problem persists.

I can't get rid of the Cookie Jam ad when I play scrabble. I can't delete it from the screen, and so can't continue with my game. It is pooping up all the time now and ruining the game for me.

Just reloaded Scrabble. I am about to delete it due to the harassment of pop ups which were not there before.

the ads that actually cover the letter boxes are the worst! You can't actually use the site when they are there because if you try to enter a letter, you click on the ad and it takes you to their site - bad for you and bad for them - I hate M and S now!
-
Dealtry commented
I agree! It is detrimental to your site (makes it unusable) and to the advertiser who is generating bad will not good will! M and S is the current bugbear!

If adverts are on the letter box, it is impossible to enter tiles because you inevitably click on the ad so it takes you away from the site - this is negative for both you (it makes your site unusable) and the advertiser ( it makes me dislike them!)

Hi, I love your site... but I can't use it any more it seems!!! The ad that you have now is planted right over where letters are added!
it sort of defeats the point... don't you think? -

I agree it is so annoying and now I can't seem to use Anagrammer at all now :(

The adverts (particularly for Group On) mean that I can't enter letters in the box without going to the advertisers website. Keep the adverts to the right.

There are some rogue advertisers who target some of our users and show annoying ads against the rules of the ad networks that we use. This problem usually affects less than 1% of our users, those of you who have voted on this topic are some of the affected users.
We also use Anagrammer daily, but we almost never are able to replicate the problem, because often these rogue advertisers are targeting specific users (for example, someone who is using Windows XP, or someone who is in Tennessee etc).
Nevertheless, we are working with our ad networks and keep reporting to them to block these advertisers who are not abiding by our rules. We give them clear instructions to only display normal ads without any sounds and other annoying things.
Sorry for the inconvenience, please be assured that we will keep fighting this type of behaviour.
P.S.: Also wanted to note that Anagrammer does offer a completely banner-free experience in Anagrammer PRO. You will find that option to signup after you login and go into your profile page.

Absolutely agree. If you absolutely have to run auto-play ads, load them with the sound off. Or find a different advertiser. Extremely annoying.

I agree. I mean, I'm not having TOO bad of a time with pop ups, but the issue I have is having this tab open and then going to another tab for something else, coming back to this one, waving my mouse over the ads and having them turn their volume on. Unfortunately for this one ad I am dealing with now, even pausing it is not working.

Fed up with ads covering screen or X when trying to play Scrabble. How can I get rid of these.

It is obnoxious that you put video ads in that I can't immediately kill. Instead I must shut down the whole window and start over. How rude of you

The part of the page I need to see is covered by an ad from Audi. Not only do I not make enough to afford a flippin Audi, I cant find a way to get rid of it or even just scoot it over. please figure out a way to place them where they aren't covering up the page.
